Transit is for Everybody

Despite progress beyond the days of horse and buggy trails, waterways and railroads, not all routes lead to home, work or healthcare.

At Routematch, we want to help change that—partnering with you to make improvements that affect the lives of your riders and the progress of your community.

We are inspired by our role in creating positive change in people’s lives, and we design solutions with communities both large and small in mind.

At the heart of our operation are real people, ready to support you and your team along the way. By powering change in your transit system, together we can offer everyone better ways to ride.

Learn more about us by visiting https://www.routematch.com/about/our-story/

PCTrans

Gold
PCTrans began in 2002 in response to a need for affordable transit software for the small to mid-sized transit provider. The founders of the company contacted local transit agencies and found that while affordable solutions existed to manage daily scheduling and reporting, those systems did not allow agencies to improve their efficiency and instead cost agencies in terms of support, daily maintenance and headaches. The PCTrans team utilized their experience from developing high-quality, full-featured software for very large transit systems (1,000+ buses) to create an easy to use, comprehensive scheduling, dispatching and reporting system that runs on personal computers (PCs) . By running on PCs, the solution was now affordable to even small transit companies. Thus the company was named PCTrans.
However, the story does not end there. By analyzing the needs and critical problems of small and mid-sized providers, PCTrans worked to ensure the solution would be effective from day one and would expand to meet the evolving needs of their clients. The company also built a solid reputation with its level of service. PCTrans continually goes the extra mile to ensure each client is getting the most out of their investment. After all, in mass transit, managing the bottom line means agencies can focus on providing great service rather than on cutbacks and reduced service.
Our customers are always happy to provide a reference; not many competitors can say that. Contact us today and we will prove our promise to you.
